Amad Malik, Fractional CTO & Chief AI Officer

Technology executive. AI practitioner. Problem solver.

I have worked with AI since 2000, when I studied neural networks in my master's degree. Most recently I was Global CTO, Aerospace and Aviation at ATOS, where I built EUROCONTROL's cloud and AI strategy and AI product development. Before that I led transformation work at Nestlé and IAG, and co-founded AMPS Global, now BlockApt. I have created AI and Cloud Centres of Excellence and built my own AI platform, Kaidera.

Cortex

A Postgres-backed memory and coordination layer for AI agent teams: it preserves decisions, lessons and progress across sessions, with project-scoped worker identities, durable handoffs and semantic and graph search. Grew out of Kaidera OS; currently an early release.

An open source, terminal-first coding-agent harness and TUI, built on Pi. Choose models, supervise worker agents, or run an explicit Architect, Builder and Judge Fusion to compare difficult decisions across models. Optional Cortex integration adds shared, project-scoped memory.

A catalogue of reusable skills for AI agents. Each skill is a SKILL.md file with a security manifest, checked by automated schema and security validation, and usable in any harness that reads SKILL.md.
